Today was a work day on the Digestive System Project
You have two options for your digestive system project, either to write a short story, or make a diagram.
Option 1 – Imagine that you are a slice of pizza (or any type of food you choose) traveling down the human digestive system. Write a description of your
journey. In your description, include the following:
- structures you travel through
- what happens to you at each structure
- how you change
- what causes you to change
Option 2 – On a 12 x 18 inch piece of paper, (your rough draft may be 8 1/2 x 11) create a flow chart of the digestive system.Include the following:
- all the organs of the digestive system
- clear descriptions of the specific function of each organ
- chemicals produced by each organ
- how those chemicals act on food
- where those chemicals act on food
